We’re looking for students who are passionate about social justice, frustrated by Danny Solis’ 22 year long neglect of our ward, and disturbed by the state of politics both in Chicago and the country. We’re building a grassroots movement to fight back: starting with electing Byron to office.

Fellows will:
Gain valuable organizing experience on one of the key aldermanic races of the 2019 Municipal elections
Engage new potential volunteers through canvassing and calls
Have the opportunity to bring their own ideas and experiences to the table, and help inform our strategy
Be a central part of helping to advance a progressive agenda in City Council
Be provided a travel stipend, course credit, and recommendation letters

Fellow will not:
Have to make coffee for anyone
Spend hours of their fellowship photocopying piles of documents
